- Device classification: hair removal, resurfacing, pigmentation treatment.
- Skin Anatomy for Laser Application:
- Skin layers, target zones, light behavior in tissues.
- Fitzpatrick Skin Type classification and its relevance to laser protocols.
- Professional Safety Principles:
- Workplace preparation, client preparation, protective tools.
- Managing early complications (burns, pigmentation, irritation).
- Ethical & Legal Practice Standards:
- Scope of practice for non-physician operators.
- Client rights, documentation, and informed consent.
Intermediate Level: Clinical Laser Hair Removal & Session Management
- Training Hours: 10 hours
- Training Units:
- Laser Hair Removal Devices:
- Diode – Alexandrite – Nd: YAG.
- Selecting devices based on skin and hair types.
- Preparing for the Session:
- Client assessment – skin prep – patch testing.
- Session Execution:
- Setting parameters (J/cm², pulse duration, frequency).
- Use of cooling systems and ensuring comfort during treatment.
- Post-Session Instructions:
- Skincare, topical medications, sun exposure precautions.
Advanced Level: Skin Rejuvenation, Low-Level Laser Protocols & Clinical Training
- Training Hours: 10 hours
- Training Units:
- Advanced Skincare with Low-Level Laser (LLLT):
- Texture improvement, sebum control, circulation activation without peeling.
- Cold pulse and soft light protocols.
- Treatment of Surface Pigmentation & Light Spots:
- IPL or spectrum-safe lasers for freckles and sunspots.
- Case evaluation and contraindication screening.
- Large Pores & Oily Skin:
- Complementary laser protocols for cleansing sessions.
- Non-invasive collagen stimulation.
- Clinical Documentation & Outcome Evaluation:
- Recording skin responses – case file preparation – ethical coordination with supervising physician.
Clinical Applied Training : (Part of the Level3)
- Training Hours: 5 hours
- Each trainee must complete hands-on clinical application on at least 5 real cases, including:
- Laser hair removal for various areas.
- Full application of pre- and post-session protocols under academic supervision.
- Assessment Requirements: Submit a clinical documentation file including:
- Case report.
- Before/after photos.
- Supervisor feedback notes.
