  • Founder of “Friends of Syria” in Australia, a group of writers, journalists, parliamentarians, and university professors interested in Syrian history.
  • Part of the Syrian delegation at the United Nations in New York, where he proposed two resolutions adopted by the General Assembly: one on translation professionalism and another on the exclusion of the Middle East Group (which includes Israel) as a regional group at the UN.
  • Served as Director in various departments within the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including International Organizations, Europe, Consular Affairs, and Afro-Asia.
  • Published two collections of poetry and a book titled “Crisis Catastrophe” discussing the Arabic language and foreign terminology.
