Board of Directors Approves the Formation of the Scientific Council of Midmak International Academy in Syria and Australia

The Board of Directors of Midmak International Academy – Syria and Australia, in its session held on November 1, 2025, approved the formation of the Academy’s Scientific Council, which includes a distinguished group of academics and experts in the fields of medicine, health, engineering, management, education, and professional training.

This decision comes within the framework of the Academy’s strategic plan to strengthen academic governance and establish a comprehensive system of quality and international academic accreditation, in alignment with its vision of achieving excellence in higher professional qualification according to American and global standards. It also reaffirms the Academy’s commitment to building an integrated academic structure that combines scientific expertise and professional leadership, guiding the educational and training process toward innovation and creativity.

The Scientific Council of the Academy is composed of the following members:

  • Dr. Dima Aziz Barakat – President of the Scientific Council
  • Dr. Mounir Shalish Hassan – Vice President of the Scientific Council
  • Dr. Ghassan Al-Nimr – Secretary of the Scientific Council
  • Dr. Kristen Brustad – Honorary Member of the Scientific Council
  • Dr. Ahmad Qarout – Member of the Scientific Council
  • Dr. Mohammad Al-Hareesi – Member of the Scientific Council
  • Dr. Firas Issa – Member of the Scientific Council
