  • Held prominent academic and administrative positions, including Professor and Coordinator of the Arabic Flagship Program at Brigham Young University (USA), Director of the intensive STARTALK Arabic summer program, Visiting Professor at the Institut Français du Proche-Orient (IFPO) in Damascus and Beirut, and Director of Arabic Language Programs at the U.S. Embassy in Damascus.
  • Recognized for leading international student debate teams that achieved top global rankings, and received international awards from the U.S. Department of State and several leading universities.
  • Professional translator between Arabic, French, and English, and an ACTFL-certified trainer for the Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI). He has significant scholarly and cultural contributions through participation in international conferences and specialized educational initiatives in Arabic language teaching and modern Arab culture.
