Prof. Dr. Eng. Omar Al Kouwatli
Professor Dr. Eng. Omar Al-Kwatli is a pioneering architect and urban planner with over 30 years of academic and professional excellence, holding a PhD from Sofia, Bulgaria. He has led major projects in city planning and the development of residential and tourism complexes across Arab and European countries, specializing in sustainability and the rehabilitation of affected areas. He has held prominent leadership positions, including Vice Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Head of the Department of Urban Planning at the Arab International University (AIU). A renowned research authority in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and local development, he is an active member of specialized international architectural committees.
