The American Nutrition Association (ANA)
is a non-profit scientific organization founded in 1959 in the United States, with the aim of promoting scientific research and education in the fields of nutrition and metabolism.
The Association represents the unified institutional framework that, in 2019, incorporated the:
American College of Nutrition (ACN), historically known as the American Association of Clinical Nutrition (AACN).
The Association publishes the peer-reviewed scientific journal: “Journal of the American Nutrition Association (JANA)” through the international publishing house Taylor & Francis. It is considered the official scientific reference in the fields of clinical and functional nutrition, as well as nutritional medicine.
