Dr. Barakat has led pioneering educational initiatives such as the “Flagship” Program in Syria and currently serves as Chair of the American Board in Syria and Vice President of the American Open University. She is the founder of an intellectual initiative aimed at linking academic education with advanced professional qualification, empowering institutions and individuals in accordance with the highest international standards.

Dr. Dima Barakat is a prominent academic and administrative leader in the field of higher education. She possesses extensive experience in developing educational systems, quality assurance, and academic accreditation at both the local and international levels, in addition to her active role in building academic partnerships with distinguished educational institutions worldwide.
She has contributed to the development of modern academic curricula and the design of linguistic and social competency assessments, in collaboration with several leading international universities, including Yale University and the University of Maryland in the United States, the University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom, King Saud University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Dar Zayed in the United Arab Emirates. This reflects her strong presence across diverse educational environments and advanced academic standards.
She has also managed several American educational programs, most notably the “Flagship” graduate program, contributing to its development and academic enhancement. In addition, she has held leadership positions in academic administration at the Syrian Private University and Al-Jazeera Private University in Syria, where she played a key role in developing academic policies and improving educational outcomes.
She currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Chair of the Board of Directors at Midmak International Academy, where she leads the institution’s strategic vision and works on developing its educational programs in line with the highest international standards. She also heads the regional office of the American Board in Syria, reflecting her efforts to strengthen integration between local educational institutions and international systems and standards.

He has led complex digital transformation projects across biotechnology, academic, and governmental sectors, distinguished by the development of intelligent systems and advanced operational analytics using technologies such as AWS, Python, and Power BI.
He has an extensive track record in designing integrated digital solutions and managing multinational technical teams, fluent in both English and French, with a strategic focus on innovation within financial, medical, and educational institutions—making him a specialist in aligning technology with high-level institutional objectives

He currently serves as Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at the International Private University for Science and Technology (Al-Wadi Campus), where he combines academic leadership, teaching, and curriculum development.
He has a distinguished research background in statistical analysis and clinical sciences, with extensive scientific contributions in his field of specialization. In parallel, he maintains an active clinical practice in his private clinic in Damascus, providing advanced solutions in periodontal surgery and dental implants. He also contributes to the training and qualification of dental professionals as a lecturer with the Syrian Board of Dental Specialties.

He also holds syndicate and advisory roles in professional, educational, and healthcare institutions, represents the American Board in Egypt and the Middle East, and has intellectual and training contributions in the fields of law, governance, crisis management, leadership, and human development.

Dr. Munir Shalish is an Associate Professor at the University of Damascus and a consultant in Otolaryngology (ENT), Head and Neck Surgery. With over two decades of clinical and surgical experience, he is regarded as one of the leading experts in rhinoplasty in the region, with a record of more than 20,000 successful nose surgeries.
He is the founder and director of Latteen Medical Center and has made a significant academic contribution through supervising postgraduate research and authoring reference works in both surgical and non-surgical aesthetics. He is also an international speaker at major conferences, including IFOS, and combines medical leadership with advanced academic training and education.
