Professor Dr. Kristen Brustad
Advisory Board Member
A distinguished academic and researcher, she holds a PhD from Harvard University and is widely regarded as one of the leading global authorities in Arabic linguistics and comparative grammar. She has held senior academic positions at the University of Texas at Austin and Emory University, and has made pioneering contributions to the study of Arabic dialects and the development of Arabic language curricula for non-native speakers.
She is well known for her contributions to major international programs such as CASA (Center for Arabic Study Abroad), and her research uniquely combines deep linguistic analysis with a strong understanding of the cultural and literary traditions of the Near East.
